[Friend Filter. If you think you're on it, you're on it.]

Everyone doing okay? I don't know if this is a flood or a gasleak or just something driving people a little crazy, but I figured I should check in anyway.

Anyone notice any turbulence? Got any theories? Figure we should get right down to it before people start really panicking.

[Private to Tim]

Still worrying about Bruce? [Which is basically his way of asking if you're doing okay specifically.]

[Private to Costigan]

Checking in, buddy. Everything still in one piece, or are you missing some stuff?

[Private to Mal]

So, got any theories on why Arthur's quoting poetry and acting kind of... spacey and super paranoid? [You'd know, right awesome nice lady who knows Arthur?]

I'm more thinking that... we might have written down things that didn't happen. Like, kept notes of our dreams, or something. Or forgotten things, or skipped over things.

I haven't lost any chunks of memory, I just... there's two wildly differing accounts, and this place messes with you so much I'm not actually sure which is real.

But... which do you assume is real? The transcript, or what you remember?

It's about as possible as someone screwing with our memories.

In fact, twice as possible. For every filter, there's someone who can break into it, I'm sure. Far more realistic than someone trying to destroy your memories, isn't it?

It makes us doubt ourselves, doesn't it? Means we might accept whatever we're told is the truth.

You've got a point about the diary, though.

Some people around here are very creepy, though.

To... undermine our sense of reality? Make us question everything, so we can't do anything? Or so we can accept whatever version of reality they give us.

Sounds like a motive to me. For some of the people around here, at least.
