My parents were circus acrobats, so, I pretty much grew up doing it. They were killed in a fall when I was eight. I was adopted by one of the people who'd seen it happen, so, that was sort of the end of my circus career. I moved to Bludhaven a few years ago, took up bartending to have something to do and decided I could do more good on the force, so... [He shrugged.] Decided to become a cop.
