Keep trying. [Maybe they'll get lucky. Maybe they're just busy, or the comms are down. If the Clock Tower's in one piece, there's a good shot Babs will be there, and there's a sudden realization that apart from the network freakouts, he hadn't seen her in almost three years.

He could feel himself getting his hopes up, even as he tried to smother them. He missed her, and Babs would have all the information they needed on this Gotham, on their counterparts, on what had happened
exactly to cause this, and he couldn't help but hope.

But then they came up on the Clock Tower and Dick slammed on the brakes, startled. The clock face was gone, shattered, and - almost without consciously realizing he was doing it - he got out of the car, staring at the ruined building.

She could have gotten out. It wasn't like she hadn't been targeted before. Hell, she'd blown up the thing back home and gotten out safely.]
