[He nodded, managing another not happy, small smile.] Thanks Hayley. [It was earnest, honest, and not as choked as much of what he'd said recently had been. As weird as it was, he actually was sort of letting himself relax a little. He wasn't sure why, since he still wasn't happy about what he'd just told her about, but already he could kind of feel the defensive walls going back up. He was consciously trying to distance himself from what had happened, and it was slowly starting to work.
