I can spend the rest of my time here doubting why I'm a warden and wondering if I'm really no better then everyone else here, or I can try and use everything I've done with myself to try and help someone who needs it. Getting bogged down about the politics and morality of this place isn't worth it for me. The only thing I can control is myself, and I'm here to do a job. Stressing out about what happened isn't going to help Costigan and it sure as hell isn't going to help me.
