[Dick has some slight bags under his eyes, but looks considerably less miserable then he did in his first post. He's sitting on the couch in his room, Costigan's wandering around in the general area of the kitchenette, and all in all, he's a little more Robin and a little less scared orphan.]

Tim and I wanted to know why we're in space, but we're not getting sucked out into it and can breathe and stuff when we're on deck. Does anyone know why?

Are we actually going anywhere, or are we just kind of... going until someone comes to take us back home?

[He looks off screen for a minute before sort of shyly saying to the off camera inmate:] Hey, Bill?

[He wants to ask how to leave messages for people specifically without telling the whole ship he'd been up all night crying about his parents, so after a beat turns back and switches the feed off.]

Thank you for coming over last night.

[Private to Tim; added after talking to Steph]

That girl, Steph, is looking for you. I don't know why, but she said she lost you.

[Spam for Costigan]

[Dick put the communicator down, fidgeting on the couch a little uncomfortably before looking back over at Costigan. He'd still been keeping an eye on him - a fact Dick really appreciated, considering how little attention he seemed to get back home - but the kid felt bad about totally losing it. He didn't know if Bruce had warned him about the nightmares or anything, although he assumed he knew what had happened to his parents.] I'm sorry I kept you up last night.

Hm. [Dick looks over off camera in the general direction of Costigan, not that Howie can see the inmate, before turning back.]

Did she say how long we'd be here?

A few days? She didn't seem to think long.

That's what everyone's saying.

[He looks back off screen quickly before asking quietly:] Do you think the grownups who're watching us are coming back with us?

Probably true, then.

[Howie says back, just as quietly, even though nobody's around on his end,] I don't think so. Shame, mine has super-powers. I think they've got to stay here.

How come? [He's trying not to sound too disappointed while still being quiet. :C]

Well, I think they work here.

Bill said he worked for Bruce, though. Or, he knows him and Bruce asked him to watch me.

There was a kid called Bruce! Maybe he works with a future version of him. Maybe Bruce got chance to ask him to do that before he left.

Elle said she worked with a future-version of me.

I know, I... I talked to him. The kid Bruce. Or, he talked to me.

What else did Elle say?

He did that to me, too.

[pause, and then he does the same quiet talking thing] Sorry. I don't think I should say.

How come? Is it bad? [Now Dick is worried about you, Howie. D:]

It's... uh... nevermind.

That's okay, you don't have to tell me.

I don't like hiding things.

But I think only I'm supposed to know.

Then you're not really hiding anything.

It... feels like I am?

Not everyone needs to know everything.

I guess not.

My mum doesn't like it when I hide things. She says it's as bad as lying, missing things out.

But what if it's something important? Something that other people can't know?

Well, I guess the government can keep information and things. They're important.

It's still a little like lying, though.

I guess so.

It's tricky. I'll ask the vicar when I get home. He'll know.

Is he good at that kind of thing?

He's good at knowing what's right and what's not.

Do you talk to him a lot?
