I know it's kind of ridiculous to try to look for a point to any of this? But I still think it if we were going to be able to be contacted by people not on the Barge, it would have been more handy to let us pick who we could contact. And when to contact them in the timeline.
I hate time travel.
[Private to Costigan]
I saw you talking with Sullivan. How are you doing?
[Private to Hayley]
So, I met your Harvey.
[Private to Bruce; added a little later]
You told Crane?

I know you're not really the type, but the best thing you can do in a situation like that is to tell him to mind his own goddamn business or tell him to fuck off. If you haven't even been there yet, he can't fuckin' hold it against you. Hell, it might be a different you. No one here knows how this shit works.
;private
... You know, the funny thing is? I'm usually pretty good at doing that. Like, back home whenever he'd be trying to get into my business with Bludhaven or the Titans, I'd tell him to fuck off and sometimes he would and sometimes he wouldn't, but usually he'd get the point. And, I don't know, ever since he showed up here he just seemed... different, I guess. Like dying had made him realize what's actually important. I mean, one of the first things he did was give Tim and I a hug, and I can count on one hand the number of times he's initiated something like that after I turned like, ten. But now he's right back to being the same old selfish asshole who doesn't realize or care that his actions effect the other people in his life too.
I don't know, I guess I just hoped things would be different. Serves me right for hoping, right?

... This probably all sounds pretty messed up to someone who like, doesn't really know how we function most days.
;private
Nah, guy. It sounds like family.

I just still can't believe he told Crane. I thought he was going to throw a fit when Tim and I told him you and Sylar know.

But see, that's kind of my point. I told you who I am and what I do because I trust you, and I assume that's why Tim told Sylar. We don't just hand this stuff out to people. Knowing this information can get people killed back where we're from, or at least put them in serious danger, and I just don't get why he'd be that fast to tell someone about it. I mean, obviously the Barge is a really different environment? But if he wanted to be Batman on the Barge, why bother introducing himself as Bruce Wayne to people? And why pick now to reveal himself to everyone?
And frankly, a "oh, just so you know, I'm beating up Crane and telling him I'm Batman, which then totally blows your cover, and probably Tim's too" would have been nice.

Sorry to dump on you like this.

Hey, that's what friends are for, right? Some shit like that?
;private
Sounds about right. But seriously, I appreciate it.

Sure thing.

But believe me, if he pulls some other stunt or tries to bitch me out more over god knows what? Then yeah, I think it's pretty safe to say I'll take a swing at him.
