He was always really controlling and pretty overprotective, and when I got older it was harder to put up with. We were always arguing about how I needed to follow orders and stop being so reckless, and he finally fired me after I got shot on the job. I left and picked out a new codename.

Well, he doesn't now. [Meaning Tim definitely knew about the getting shot, and knew he'd been replaced, but he's not sure how much the Boy Stalker knew about exactly what happened.]
