[Have some proto-Batvoice, Barge. Dick mad. :| And planning on getting some stuff done. He's going to be doing some investigating and digging around and general controlled freaking out before the bridge assault gets organized if anyone wants to bug him for stuff.]

Alright, if this is his endgame, then we need to stop running around like chickens with our heads cut off and actually get something done. The CES is closed off. People are getting pulled into it without warning. The infirmary's got plans to go mobile in case things get worse, and the faceless people are getting more corporeal, and potentially more hostile. Stay in groups, don't do anything stupid, and stay alive. Whoever's in charge might think it's funny to shut the death toll off.

We need to pool knowledge. Anyone who knows how to access the inner structure of the Barge needs to speak up now before things get any worse. Has anyone seen or heard from Trip and Tosh, or the rest of the engine room crew?

For the people stuck in the CES: we're going to get you out. Don't panic, stay together, and watch each other's backs. Keep in communication with other people who aren't with you and try to find out how many people have gotten sucked in.

We're going to get through this. We just need to stay calm and work together.

[And he can be found heading down to Level Eight. Midway across the hall he stops and chuckles. He doesn't turn around.]

I know you're here, Dick. I saw you coming.

[Dick doesn't say anything in favor of just grabbing him by the shoulders, lifting him off the ground and slamming him against the wall, pinning him by the shoulders and getting right up in his face. He is in full on Bat mode, with a look on his face that would have any sane person just about ready to crap their pants.]

You listen to me right now. I don't care about whatever you're trying to prove, but Tim is in there and I am getting him out. Now, start talking.

[David doesn't resist when Dick grabs him, though the wide, manic smile drops from his face when the vigilante gets up close and personal. Face to face, Dick can see for the first time that David's got himself a new trinket. A black pendant, hanging loosely from around his neck.]

Tim's fine. He's in the safest place he could be right now.

[Dick's expression and tone doesn't falter, because lol he does not buy that for a second.]

What is that?

[For the moment, David's not fighting back, either because it's Dick or because he knows the vigilante's lost patience.]

The CES. It's become a pocket dimension. Somewhere he's putting all the ones who'd be too dangerous.

[Dick is just barely keeping it together in terms of levels of ineffective rage, so not fighting back is probably a good thing.]

Too dangerous to what? What is he planning, David?

[That earns him as patronizing a look as David dares.]

He's bringing it all down. The Barge, the Admiral, all of it. But he needed to get the ones who'd figure it out too soon out of the way.

What did he promise you?

Freedom.

[Dick just smirks. It is not a happy smirk.] You're a naive, idiot child if you think he's actually going to fulfill that promise.

[He drops him, completely unceremoniously and steps away.] I expected better of you.

[David manages to land on his feet in a crouch. He glares up at Dick.]

You know what? I don't care what you expected. And I don't care about his promise, either.

[From his jacket David withdraws a pistol and levels it at Dick.]

This is what I care about.

[The smirk just gets more pronounced, and a little more... not quite sadistic, but definitely darker.]

Cute.

[And Dick is just nimbly kicking it out of your hand and then further down the hall where you can't get at it. Really, David, you've read the comics, you should know better then this.]

Will took your powers away, I'll take it.

[It all happens too fast for David to process. One minute he's got the weapon trained on Dick and the next it's skittering out of his hand. He backs up a few steps, and the scowl gives way to a cornered look Dick's seen from him before.]

Yeah. He did. With the bitch who fucking murdered me running loose. That's why I'm doing this. I tried your way and it didn't work. So I'm doing this my way now.

I'm not going to let you get away with this, David. Any of you. [Do you really want this in your life, David. :|]

It's too late to stop it now, Dick. He's already won. The Admiral's toast. [And he's backing away all the while.] If you're smart, you'll get Tim and get off this boat.

I care about other people here too, David. I'm not leaving them here to die.
