[Say hello to the Nightwing voice, Barge! It's becoming something you're hearing more and more of lately. :| Dick doesn't sound angry per say so much as forceful and focused, because he is getting those people out of the CES and he is doing it now god damn it.]

I need a team of wardens willing to come with me to get Ivy out of the CES and release the rest of the hostages.

I have no idea how the Admiral's capped her powers here, but she's got powerful, mind controlling pheromones, her skin can be toxic, and she's able to control and manipulate plant growth to her own advantage, both defensively and offensively. Anyone who's got a natural resistance towards poisons or suggestion would be ideal, and she can and will put up a fight, but we are not killing her.

[ooc: For reference, members of team takedown are Dick, Rhade, Stildyne, Narvin and Will Graham, but people are more than welcome to post and discuss the current goings on if they want. HERE is the actual takedown thread, and if people want to log out them meeting up/hacking through the trees to get in, we can definitely throw something together!]

She might use them as shields, or get them to try to fight with her. They're basically completely under her control, and while I don't think she'd kill or injure a hostage just to make a point, I seriously doubt she'd mind them getting banged up to protect herself.

Will they still be capable of being stunned if someone has the appropriate weapon? I'll meet you by the CES.

Yes, they're just as vulnerable as usual. But I'm not letting them get really hurt if we can help it.

Calm down. Stun weapons don't cause damage. They just render the person unconscious. Unfortunately my force lance is better as a melee weapons so someone with a phaser or staser would be useful.

I've had some pretty decent phaser burns in the past. Your force lancer will do more than fine against the plants.

I'm not unusually resistant, but would a mask or rebreather stop the effects? I have a contact rifle, that'll disrupt plant matter as easily as soft tissue. I could give cover fire.

It might slow them down, hopefully that plus the cap on her powers will be enough to be more or less immune, but I'd still recommend caution.

Understood. If I stay at the rifle's non-lethal range I ought to be out of the worst of it: any symptoms besides the stupor if you start to get affected?

She'll be more or less in control of your mind. It's possible to fight it depending on the dosage she hits you with, and it wears off eventually if she doesn't hit you with more, but you'll basically be willing to take a bullet for her if she asked you too, which is what we're going to be up against with her remaining hostages.
