[A small smile tugs at his lips. The sentiment is appreciated but he's not sure if Dick would feel the same way if he knew everything there was to know about him. Pushes those thoughts off to the side so they don't weight him down any more than they already do.]

People get kind of sensitive when people they used to have feelings for move on, especially if it's with someone they know. That doesn't mean you two can't or shouldn't like each other, but it just means Tim might be a little... weird about it, at first, if that makes sense.

[Is genuinely curious.] Why? I mean it would make sense if they still liked them but if you don't like someone, wouldn't you want them to move on?

Well, Tim doesn't not like Steph, he just isn't interested in dating her anymore. [He thinks. Maybe. idk. :|] When you have feelings like that for someone, they don't always go away when you stop dating, or seeing each other, even if you know it's not a good idea to be together anymore.

[He kind of half laughs, a little sadly.] Relationships and romantic feelings are really complicated, and don't usually make a lot of sense.

[Sighs.] No kidding. I want to be friends with Tim and Cassie too. Whenever I'm around them I get this feeling of...not de ja vu but something like it. I don't think it's just because I know them in my world too.
