So, in light of Amanda's most recent network post, and some of the stuff Hoffman said to me while he was in the infirmary, I think it might be a good idea for someone to go through his room and make sure he doesn't have anything dangerous stored in there that we don't know about. There's some really bad blood between these two, and I'm pretty sure no one but the two of them really wants them to just keep killing each other every week.

I'd be happy to look through Hoffman's room myself, but if anyone's got particularly strong feelings about wanting to help, I wouldn't say no to an extra pair of hands.

And speaking of weapons and all that, does anyone actually know how she got her hands on the knife in the first place? I know she's unassigned, but I thought people were trying to keep an eye on that, all things considered.

Well, you know I signed you up for paperwork? Could you do it this Friday instead of next. It... hasn't been done for a while, what with one thing and another, and I've missed great chunks of things, it seems that, and there's no way in hell I'm reporting my own death.

And if you're going to this guy's room and he does similar stuff to her? Off the top of my head, I remember there being a lot of scrap metal, and a ton of excess electronics. Three radios, a load of scales, all sorts of things like that. One makes sense, more than one's just suspicious.

I'm not sure if he's much like her at all, though.

From the way they've been talking, it sounds like whoever this John or Jigsaw or whoever it was really did a number on them, and while I'm not really sure if Hoffman's as devoted to the cause as Amanda is, he definitely wants her dead and he's killed before. So, even if he's not much like her method wise, he's still dangerous.

I don't really doubt it. But if they're not exactly the same in motivation or method, knowing what was in her room might not be much help. But better to know than not know, usually.
