Oh, please, was my Inmate just supposed to stand there and not fight back? Come on, now. It wasn't murder, you don't get to use that term when someone was there to interfere. And had Armand just stood there not fought back, my item would have gone off too, Dick.

Maybe you should figure out what caused the attack then in the first place, because last I checked, the two didn't have pressing issues before this mess.

What planet are you from? First of all, Armand should have disabled him and called you, or me, or someone, or just walked away. Costigan wasn't trying to kill him, and Armand is stronger then him. Second? The only reason it wasn't murder was because Donny showed up and stopped him from choking him. You don't get to try to say your inmate trying to kill someone was totally okay because someone happened to hear the fight and stopped it.

And I know why Costigan did it, that's why he's not in Zero. Maybe you should do your job and ask Armand.

I didn't say it would have been okay to kill Billy! But if an Inmate has a knife and stabs you, I think your first instinct would be to fight back not 'oh, hey, could you please pause so I can take the time to whip out my communicator and send out a distress call?'

For the second time, Mr. Grayson, I said that Armand.doesn't.know. What is with the Wardens here withholding information? [And now she's pacing.] It makes me sick, seriously, are we only supposed to care for our Inmates? Because that's bullshit! Help me out here so we can work together and settle this.

No, my first instinct would be to fight back and knock them unconscious, not strangle them. You seriously think it's justifiable for someone to try killing someone who punched you in the face and caused you a minor injury? That's bullshit.

Well, did you bother asking him why he got stabbed, or did you ask if he's done anything that someone might want revenge for? Just curious what bases you've covered. I mean sure, my inmate attacked yours, yours fought back, mine stabbed yours, yours tried to strangle mine, they're both clearly at fault here, but at least Costigan had a reason I support. What's Armand's? Because sorry, "memory loss" and "self defense" don't cover trying to kill someone.

And just to be clear, I could honestly care less about warden harmony right now. Costigan's well being is more important to me then you feeling like I don't care about the guy who tried to kill someone I care about.

Which is what separates Wardens from Inmates. Not every Inmate has a heart of gold or the instinct to react appropriately.

That's still not an excuse. The whole point of being here is to redeem inmates, so forgiving their less than moral actions because "they don't have the instinct to react appropriately" is conterproductive and stupid.

Alright, so if he's not friends with Molly, that wipes out my assumption this was revenge for the random attack Armand committed with her. What about Rex? Armand is claiming he's attacked no one since Molly, which was months ago, and no one has contacted me saying otherwise. Which leaves the mess that is whatever between Armand and Rex.
