Everyone doing okay? I don't know if this is a flood or a gasleak or just something driving people a little crazy, but I figured I should check in anyway.

Anyone notice any turbulence? Got any theories? Figure we should get right down to it before people start really panicking.

Some of the things I've got written down, like they were fact, are more than a little inaccurate.

Arthur said something along those lines too, but you're, uh. Handling it a lot better then he was.

What's inaccurate about them?

I... thought I was making mistakes.

So I went back to my diary to check what had happened.

And nothing matches up. With either what I remember, or what's written on the journal.

I was apparently killed and I don't remember it.

As for handling it better, I'd still like to write it off as mistakes, but this place messes with your head more than you'd want it to.

Your diary says you were killed? That seems like something we'd all remember. When did it say it happened?

I'm having to read between lines to work it out, because nobody just writes in their diary 'I was killed today. Kind of terrible'. Not even me. [half joke. :|]

But I think early February. There's about ten empty pages. Which I was definitely here for, and...

I really need to go ask some people some questions.

Now I'm wondering if I should start going through some of my stuff too. I definitely don't remember that happening.

I'm going to go cross-check some things.

Has anything this widespread ever happened before? Usually the amnesia seems pretty person specific?

...There was that flood where we all got amnesia amnesia.

But I'm not forgetting anything, really. I just have different memories to those I wrote about. Which either means I was writing about my dreams, or something much worse.

I have a note here, next to him and Prefect and his power, that someone said he lost memories for those he replaced.

But I don't actually remember who told me or why. That being said, I'm not sure I totally buy the whole 'someone/thing is responsible' idea. This place puts a lot of stress on people, and we can't always assume it's something untoward and not just the inevitable stresses of... taking things all on your shoulders at once.

Believe me, I get how stressful taking responsibility for everything is, but I've never lost huge chunks of my memory before or created new ones to compensate for it before.

I mean, I'm still thinking this is a flood or some freak accident because of how random all the damage seems to be, but...

I'm more thinking that... we might have written down things that didn't happen. Like, kept notes of our dreams, or something. Or forgotten things, or skipped over things.

I haven't lost any chunks of memory, I just... there's two wildly differing accounts, and this place messes with you so much I'm not actually sure which is real.

[He sounds tired and more then a little stressed out, and there's a pause while he rubs his forehead.] Some... transcripts of a conversation. Two conversations. And I remember the first one happening but it did not go like that. The rest of the entry doesn't make any sense either, and there's a second one I don't remember having at all.

But... which do you assume is real? The transcript, or what you remember?

Not to my recollection.

Howie, I haven't cared this much about what Bruce thinks of me since I was a kid, but these entries are from earlier this month. Why would someone alter the records of a conversation I had? How would they have? The filters are pretty unhackable, and I haven't handed over my journal to anyone.
