So I figure by now, everyone's calmed down and realized we're not in any imminent danger here, so I have a question. Does anyone else - of the kids on board, I mean - remember this place at all? I feel like I've been here before, but a long time ago, or like I had a dream about it or something. It wasn't all decked out for Halloween last time, though. I'm not sure if I should be weirded out by it or not. Halloween in Gotham's usually a fiasco. [Private to Tim] Do you need help dealing with anyone? [He saw you talking to that very angry scary girl and vaguely remembers you/has a sense you're to be trusted, so. B(] Also, I could maybe stand to borrow a sweatshirt or something, if you don't mind. He's a hero. [And basically THE BEST PERSON EVER except Batman. Actually Dick might like Clark more than Bruce sometimes. :V] He helps people like you.

Because you need help. Little kids aren't supposed to be in prisons, no matter where they're from or what they did.

The warden says I'll never leave if I'm not good. [ Soooooooo that's contrary to everything ever he's been told. ] But if I'm good I'll get time off!

The warden is a jerk, and he's the one who should be in prison.

[ Megamind does not quite know how to handle this information. His entire life -- short as it has been up until this point -- cannot have been a lie, right? ]

No, no, he has a really hard job and he's really smart and tough to handle so many criminals and to keep me from breaking out. Seriously, he's foiled me like ten times now.

But you shouldn't be there in the first place. He's keeping a kid in prison for no reason other than you're different from everyone else. That's against the law, and if it was happening in my world, Batman and I would stop it, or the JLA or the police department. You don't deserve to be in prison just because you're different.

...but then why am I there? [ So confused. ] That's where I belong. They said so. I'm a criminal.

No, you're just a kid. You're there because apparently the people running the place don't understand basic laws.

Ooh. Robins are Michigans state birds. The males have a continuous mating song, but their distress cry is peek tut tut tut. They're actually easy to tame.
