Bruce Wayne has been brought down to Level Zero after trying to attack and kill Poison Ivy. He'll be down there for the full week.

If anyone has any reason to believe anyone else has been threatened or caught his attention for whatever reason, I'd appreciate hearing about it sooner rather than later.

No one was. Why?

I am merely attempting to collect all the facts. Including those that are, as of yet, unknown.

Ivy was on deck, she ran into Bruce, they had a confrontation and she hit him with her pheromones to stop him from killing her and presumably interrogated him a little about his world before telling me and her warden what was going on. Ivy was gone by the time I got there and it sounds like Banner has that side of things under control.

Banner. A fellow Warden, correct?

Is she unharmed?

Yeah, he's her warden. And I think so, she's definitely more than capable of defending herself, and she would have been able to stop him before he got close.

I have not yet witnessed her self-defense skills, though I commend her on employing them against a potential assailant.

That said, I am curious as to what words were exchanged, precisely, between them that would have initiated such violence. When I last spoke to Bruce, he insisted that his time aboard was not yet sufficient to determine who and what were to be considered volatile threats.

Like I said, he knew a Poison Ivy back home, who was virtually identical in every way - appearance, voice, morality, over all mindset - to the one from my world, which is the one on board. He didn't need time to know what she was capable of and what she's already done.

I am unconvinced that he attacked her merely because he recognized her face.

Would it not benefit an inmate to understand his actions so that we may help to avoid them in the future? Our purpose here is to aid in rehabilitation, not intensify punishments. And, as he is not currently assigned to a Warden, Bruce would benefit most from your understanding.

Aya, look, Ivy is a dangerous ecoterrorist in our world who hates humanity and everything it's done to the Earth, and really would like all of us to just die off so plants can inherit the Earth. That's why he attacked her. And I really don't need to be lectured about better understanding the murderous, alternate universe version of my adoptive father. I know Bruce better than anyone, and I already know why he's doing this.

You and everyone else on board needs to understand that as long as people are here who have hurt, ended or otherwise endangered or threatened the lives of others, Bruce is going to want to stop them by any means necessary until someone convinces him that grief is not an acceptable reason to lash out at everyone you don't agree with, and that sometimes, people really can change. He doesn't believe that right now, and the worst part is? He used to. Convincing someone to go back after crossing that line is incredibly difficult.

I am aware of all this, Dick. This is a prison, and for all the Admiral's current public faults, I do not believe he would imprison someone who was not guilty of any range and severity of crimes. And if that is the sole reason behind Bruce's latest attack, as you claim, then I will say no more to you on that matter.

Do you intend to be the one to convince him?

[Dick sighs, frustrated, because that's not what he was saying about the Barge at all. Every inmate and former inmate and even some of the wardens are at serious risk of being hurt by Bruce in some way, and everyone brushing this off like it wasn't much concern or acting like they somehow weren't being fully informed as to what was going on was making him wish he could slam his head against a wall.]

I'm not planning on being his warden, if that's what you're asking. That's a massive conflict of interest.

Then, perhaps, you should not attempt to bear the entire weight of his actions.

Again, I'm really not interested in a lecture. I don't understand what's so confusing about this situation for you, and if there's some way I can further clarify it, I'll be happy to.

I am not interested in lecturing you, either. I can only offer advice based on the data I have collected.

And I appreciate the effort, but this is a subject I'm pretty well versed on. [He's been here for two years plus knowing Bruce better than anyone for around seventeen years this November. :c]

[Not the Barge specifically, but Aya is moreso referring to knowledge of prisons, prisoners, and personally dealing with the rehabilitation of one who had fallen so far.]
