[Dick is wandering around the house, which is a nice, normal looking place. He's particularly focusing on the family photos and any other traces of the people who apparently really live here who happen to look... just like him and some other Barge people. Including apparently Wally. And Tim. Who are both the wrong ages.]

I'm still in the "this could be worse" stage, but not gonna lie, this is pretty freaky. I think I'm a cop. And maybe ten years older.

So, guess we should have a sound off? Who else is totally wigging out a little over this?

... And anyone seen Wally? I think he's [Dear god this is so weird.] my kid.

You make it off the Barge? You seem to be a popular guest star in some of these pictures. [Meaning it looks like they're both cops. Which is. Fun.]

[Dick turns around, a little surprised there's anyone in the house with him, but fortunately it's someone he recognizes. He frowns a little, noticing there's something a little off about the Doctor, who is another prominent feature in most of these pictures.] Doc? You okay?

[He kind of misses his crazy clothes, yes.] I'm getting there, I suppose. [Nervous chuckle.] What in the heavens has the Admiral done to us now?

[Okay, just to be sure, he has to check his pulse at his neck. Nope. One heartbeat.] I only have one heart.

Normally I have two. One appears to be absent. Along with a number of my typical abilities. [He brow furrows in frustration, but for someone suddenly missing a body part he's taking it fabulously well. He looks out the front window.]

Is that Slade with the large Staffie out there?

[Dick sighs, looking out the window.] Yep. The universe clearly hates me. Or something.

... So, you're featured in a lot of these pictures. [And Dick's pretty sure he knows why. It's just kind of weird to think of someone not Bruce and not his real dad being... his dad.]

Could be worse, I suppose. The Joker could have still been present. [Oh what a job that would have been without the psychic thing to defend himself with.

He turns from the window and goes over to examine the pictures.] ...It's one thing to find pictures of yourself from something you've not done yet! That's one of the hazards of time travel. Finding pictures of yourself where you've already been but haven't is an entirely different manner of disconcerting. Oh look how wee you and Tim are in this one! [He goes from petulant to delighted in five seconds flat, picking up one of the pictures to look at it.]

Yeah, good point. [At least Slade didn't have any access to nuclear weapons here. The Joker would be able to cause some kind of catastrophe with chewing gum and a ball of twine.

He comes over to look at the picture, brow furrowed. They definitely were young, which was... weird. Dick had only really known Tim since he was a teenager.] Definitely. You think we're adopted?

Oh, I'd hope so. If not your mother must have been quite the tall woman. [He is a bitty wee man, and he's got two strapping lads out of the deal somehow.

He puts his finger to his temple and rubs. Okay, missing senses? A little more off-putting than missing hearts.] Where is Tim? Have you seen Tim?

Nope, not yet. You're the first person I've seen since I got here. [He carefully put a hand on the older man's shoulder, frowning in concern.] You sure you're okay?

Ever lost your sense of hearing? I'm afraid that's what's happened to me. Though something else than the hearing. [However! Time to man up! He sets his jaw and stands as tall as he can.]

I'm familiar with this time period though. Logistically I should be able to successfully integrate myself into society. [Right? Maybe. He misses his regular hat.]

[And there's kind of an awkward pause. Dick's stepped into a lot of roles and characters before, but randomly ending up in a place where he was married, with a kid, and apparently a part of a family he didn't know anything about was pretty high up on the weird list. And this guy was apparently his dad.] ... Want to help me start going through family albums or something?

I do admit it was considerably easier when the memories were pre-implanted into our minds, ala the dimensional breaches. There are albums? Do these actually look as you and Tim did when you were younger? [He motions at the images. Though... Tim seems to be older. That's weird.

He's prepared to work with it. He lives off improvised family.]

Yeah, we look the same. At least, I'm pretty sure, I don't really know what Tim looked like when he was a baby or anything. [He walked over to one of the shelves and pulled one of the albums down, handing it over.] Wally - he's my kid here, apparently - looks the same too, we practically grew up together back home.
