[Warden Filter]
So, in light of Amanda's most recent network post, and some of the stuff Hoffman said to me while he was in the infirmary, I think it might be a good idea for someone to go through his room and make sure he doesn't have anything dangerous stored in there that we don't know about. There's some really bad blood between these two, and I'm pretty sure no one but the two of them really wants them to just keep killing each other every week.
I'd be happy to look through Hoffman's room myself, but if anyone's got particularly strong feelings about wanting to help, I wouldn't say no to an extra pair of hands.
And speaking of weapons and all that, does anyone actually know how she got her hands on the knife in the first place? I know she's unassigned, but I thought people were trying to keep an eye on that, all things considered.
[Private to Ariadne]
Did you ever find out where she got the knife?

[SPAM] (sweet deal! also, sorry for the late.)
[He put his ear to the door of the safe, not really used to the kind of safe that had a button instead of a knob, but figuring he could probably still jimmy open the thing without the use of dynamite. He grunted and knocked on the door with his knuckles, then started trying combinations of numbers.]
Anyway, she needs her filters taken away from her if she still has 'em, and maybe some forced quality time with some wardens. She has too much time on her hands. [Not that Donny was biased. Noooo. No way.]
[SPAM] (no worries! <3)
[He continued investigating the contents of the desk. So far, there wasn't anything overly suspicious, no extra radios or random pieces of equipment like he'd been warned about by Howie and T'Pol, just run of the mill stuff that he never the less looked over just to be sure.] Ariadne's been keeping an eye on her, but she needs an actual warden, someone who can keep up with her and make sure she doesn't start taking out her boredom on the rest of us. What I wouldn't give for a copy of her file.
[SPAM]
Yeah, well, I wish whoevah gets her the best of luck. They'll be needing it.
[After a couple more tries, listening to the clicks inside the door of the safe as he randomly punched in buttons (at least some things never changed), Donny managed to pop open the door. He waited a second, anticipating a spring-loaded trap or something terrible like that, then poked his head inside.]
Whole bunch of nothing inside the safe.
[SPAM]
[But as he looked under the desk itself, he discovered he'd maybe been a little premature in saying it. He stooped down to pick up the toolbox and opened it up to see all sorts of fun, sharp pointy things, not to mention a hammer and a bunch of other equipment that was definitely super unsafe for an inmate to have.] ... Guess I spoke too soon. Ignoring the knives, I'm pretty sure just about any of these would make one hell of a shiv. [He eyed the hammer.] Or could at least give someone one hell of a concussion.
[SPAM]
{And on that cheerful note...] I'll just take a quick look around to make sure we didn't miss anything. [He excused himself to stalk about the perimeters, looking under the bed and checking the safe one last time just to be sure he didn't skip anything important.]
[SPAM] Want Donny to find the pig mask?
But he nodded as Donny started looking around again, looking over some of the drawings with increasing concern. He hadn't seen any of their 'traps' first hand, but these were pretty intense, even for a seasoned Gotham vigilante.] Find anything interesting?
[SPAM] ooooh, yeah, that sounds fun. XD
Dunno, does this look interesting or insanely-creepy to you? [A glance at the mask,] I'm going with insanely-creepy.
[SPAM] Creepiest mask ever. :|
Yikes. Looks like someone's a fan of Lord of the Flies or something. You think it's part of the Jigsaw get up or what?
[Because to Dick, nickname plus traps plus scary looking mask definitely equaled theme criminal, and that clearly meant he had to have an ensemble to parade around in when he confronted his victims. It was practically run of the mill back home.]
[SPAM] yeah, it really is. :|
[He shuddered. Why would he even say that?] You know...I thought having one person on the Barge into this stuff was enough, but two? [He set the mask down on the desk.] What a fuckin' nightmare.
[SPAM]
He picked up one of the sketches, frowning at it. He'd seen a lot of deathtraps before, but these...] This is just sick.
[SPAM]
He didn't look at the sketches. He knew they'd disturb him, because what she did to Clapet still haunted him at night.] Yeah...I know. [His voice was soft and his eyes were looking towards the door.]
Take the tool box and let's call it a day?
[SPAM]
He turned to leave and clapped him on the shoulder briefly.] Thanks Donny, I appreciate it.
[SPAM]
He acknowledged the gesture with a nod of his head.] No problem, guy. Any time. [And he meant it, as disturbed as he was poking through this crazy-person's room. Dick was one of the good guys, and he had been happy to help. He made his way towards the door and held it open for Dick, giving a grand wave of his hand and a short bow.]
After you.
