[Dick is wandering around the house, which is a nice, normal looking place. He's particularly focusing on the family photos and any other traces of the people who apparently really live here who happen to look... just like him and some other Barge people. Including apparently Wally. And Tim. Who are both the wrong ages.]

I'm still in the "this could be worse" stage, but not gonna lie, this is pretty freaky. I think I'm a cop. And maybe ten years older.

So, guess we should have a sound off? Who else is totally wigging out a little over this?

... And anyone seen Wally? I think he's [Dear god this is so weird.] my kid.

You make it off the Barge? You seem to be a popular guest star in some of these pictures. [Meaning it looks like they're both cops. Which is. Fun.]

[She buckles her seat belt as well and takes a quiet glance around the interior of the bug. The lei hanging from the rear-view mirror seemed absolutely unnecessary, but then again so did the Lady Gaga song that started playing from the iPod tucked one of the cup holders. Before she knew it, the architect reached over and turned down the volume. What the hell was that?]

According to my phone and the notebook I found earlier, he's the love of my life and he's just so cute I can hardly stand it.

[Ariadne looks less than thrilled as she digs through the glove compartment, trying to find the car's registration or insurance, just in case. What she found instead was a photo of Jensen (http://ericbrady.tripod.com/eric02.jpg) with white out writing on it.]

[Dick definitely is having a moment of dear god, I hope no one I'm supposed to know sees me in this car with a lei and whatever this music is, but he'll get over it. Especially because he's too busy laughing his head off about Jensen the Wal-Mart boy who's so cute she can't stand it. Especially because lol he looks like a dork.]

Wow Ariadne, you sure know how to pick 'em.

Hey, I didn't pick him!

[She's, again, trying to do her best to look disapproving but wow this picture. She wonders if that's him in his wal-mart uniform. Splendid, she has such standards. She looks through a couple pages of her notebook before reading aloud, in a deadpan,]

"He looked at me today, Jensen did. He's just so cute. I can't wait to be his wife. I hope he asks me out sometime soon because I can't even wait! I'll go see him at his work and see if he notices my new shoes!"

[She paused.]

"XOXO Mrs. Jensen Ackles."

[brb, loling forever.] Thank god you're not this vapid on the Barge, I feel like I'd have to push you over the side.

[Her wide, wide smile is more than close to laughter, but she just can't quite do it.]

Well, if I start following you around and talking about how cute you are, you can feel free to do so. I give you permission.

[She runs a hand along her eyebrow, wondering how much worse Daneel could get. And then she found it.]

"I hope that when I become a pop star, Jensen will follow me. I think he's the one for me. Plus, he totally looks hot in that red shirt of his."

[Oh ugh. That would explain the tapes in her room labeled, 'send to Capitol.']

[It's a good thing Dick is a good driver, or he would probably have swerved and gotten them into an accident with that last comment.] A pop star? Geez, how old are you supposed to be, twelve?

[Ariadne shakes her head and pulls out her wallet.]

She's nineteen and I know that I can't sing.

[She couldn't carry a tune in a bucket unless it was superglued to her hands. So, hopefully, she wasn't going to have to do any singing to anyone, least of all Dick. That would just be embarrassing.]

That would explain the business major. Maybe the music school didn't take her.

Man, you're finding out all sorts of exciting things about yourself today. And to think I'm just a cop who can't seem to keep track of his one kid.

[There's a slight pause.] I have very little idea of where we're going.

[Ariadne glanced up from the phone, donning a more serious look. She really didn't either.]

Shouldn't it be off a main road of some kind?

[That had been her small experience with Wal-Marts since she'd left for France a few years ago.]

Probably. I figure if we drive around enough we'll figure it out, but not gonna lie? I kinda wish we'd at least gotten a file or a dossier or something to read before we got dumped here.

[Really, was that too much to ask?]

[Ariadne nods quietly, agreeing without needing to say anything.]

And who's to say that we aren't disrupting their lives by being here.

I guess we just need to be careful. Might want to brush up on your valley girl accent.

... Maybe this is just my upbringing coming through, I don't really like the suburbs.

[Ariadne raised an eyebrow at Dick, but realized he was right in that area. She would have to fit in.]

I don't like them much either. I'm used to the city.

Same. It's too quiet around here.

And not enough people.

[She quickly pointed when she spotted the Wal-Mart sign.]

There! Dick, turn right.

[He does, and soon they're pulling into the Wal-Mart parking lot. Dick gets out of the car and looks around, trying to figure out where his wayward best friend/son is hiding.]

He'd better not have wandered off. I think he's got school in like, an hour.

[Ariadne also follows suit, looking for any sign of Wally, but instead spots Jensen pushing carts into the corral. He waves at her, beckoning her over. Oh crap.]

You go on ahead. I think I have to go pretend to be in love with him.

[Pause.]

Come back quickly, please.

Don't worry, I can always arrest him for assault or something if he tries anything.

[And with that, he's off to find Wally. Don't try anything Jensen. 8|]

[ Wally is chillin' by the vending machine in front of the store. He had just enough money in his pocket to buy a coke. ]

Took you long enough.

I know, I know, sorry. Come on, we have to go rescue Ariadne from the love of her life and then get you to school.

[And he is, for serious, going to be taking your hand and leading you back to the car. Sorry Wally. 8|]

Because he's the love of her counterpart's life, not hers. And her counterpart sounds like a ditz.

Hmmm. Hold on, I've got an idea.

[ And without further ado, Wally pulls away from Dick and jogs over to tug on Jensen's shirt. ]
