[Spam for Clint]

[Barton. Barton was the leak in the department. It took everything he had not to just march over to his apartment right after talking with Lensherr and drag him down to the office himself, because he was angry. Really, really damn angry, because he didn't care if Clint was worried about his reputation being sullied. He'd sold the mob information, and two agents were dead. There was a chance - a slim one, but still a chance - that their deaths had nothing to do with what Barton had given them, but until he had proof otherwise, he was going after a guy who'd caused the death of two agents and God knows who else.

He wasn't at the office, surprise surprise. Admittedly, no one else was either, it was too early in the morning for most of the other agents to even consider coming in, and he knew he should probably leave a note or something at least to one of the other agents, but he wanted to do this himself. He'd never been great being a team player when it came down to it, and this was no exception.

Besides, he was less likely to run if it was just his partner approaching him, versus an entire pack of feds.

He finally ran into him downtown, and went to pull him aside, starting to head away through the small crowds that had started to gather so they could go somewhere quiet to talk.]

We need to talk.

[Open Spam for the Hallways, Backdated to before the flood ended]

[As messed up as it was, Dick was actually really enjoying this flood. You could spend as much time as you wanted in the gym here, and it still wasn't quite the same as actively running a gauntlet where you risked serious injury and/or death if you weren't fast enough, and he'd run the sims in his danger room facility enough that it wasn't really a challenge anymore.

This was different, and he really needed the distraction for the time being, so instead of staying put and waiting the flood out in his room, he'd been roaming the hallways aimlessly, dodging darts and spears and moving floor tiles and sudden narrow, practically invisible bridges stretched across sudden vast gaps in the floor. It wasn't exactly
normal, but it was something he could do to keep his mind active and not wallow, and it never hurt to brush up on how to not get yourself killed.

At the moment, the hallway he was walking down seemed more or less normal (for the flood, anyway), with well worn bricks that looked vaguely Egyptian, maybe, or at least something that seemed at home in the desert lining the walls and floor. It was dark, and he'd reached into his jacket pocket for a mag light, carefully sweeping the light methodically over the corridor, checking for any traps. There were markings on the floor, and he crouched down to look at them, carefully tracing a finger over one of the characters. Definitely not Egyptian, then. Nothing he recognized, actually, which meant maybe this was some kind of space Egyptians or from another culture or something else entirely, and it was those thoughts that distracted him a little bit as he stood up and carefully continued his way down the hallway.

... Only to have the floor drop out from underneath him. He dropped the flashlight with a surprised shout, and it rolled down the hall and bounced off a corner of brick, illuminating the opposite wall. Dick caught himself before he actually fell, whacking his chin on the floor and grunting a little as he tried to reorient himself. He could pull himself up pretty easily, but he wasn't sure if the rest of the floor was booby trapped or not, and with footsteps coming down around the corner, and a shadow suddenly appearing on the wall the flashlight was lighting up, he figured a head's up to whoever was coming was probably necessary.]

The floor's a little unstable over here. Just a friendly tip.

[ooc: Multiples welcome! I'm assuming this is after Kirk and Shego have left timeline wise but am otherwise very flexible. c:]

[Dick hasn't wandered too, too far from the ship yet. He's getting his bearings, and it's still early on in port, before it's safe to return to the ship. In the background of the video, you can probably make out some of the wrecked buildings, and while Dick in in civvies, he's got a backpack slung over one shoulder with the Nightwing suit in it.]

Nice of the Admiral to pick another awesome vacation destination to crash the ship for repairs. You'd think there should be an outpost or something we can dock at for a while, rather than just hitting the brakes too hard and ending up here. Wherever... here is. [Have you guys seen the sky? There is no way we're not all coming out of this without some respiratory problems. :|]

I bet we lost people in the landing, too. Obviously we have no idea what this world is actually going to be like, and maybe we'll get lucky and have a quiet weekend for once, but use caution if you're heading out away from the ship, and I think we should do a roll call to see who's missing so we can start thinking about getting them back in one piece.

[Which brings him to the issue that's been nagging at him since port was announced.]

Has anyone seen Tim?

[ooc: Feel free to spam him! He's maybe half a mile out from the ship at this point, and will be doing sneaky Bat things to try and find out more about what happened here. Once the Vanquish start rolling in, he's going to be suiting up and heading off to find Tim and get him out of here, but is otherwise very open for plotting and shenanigans.]

[Warden Filter]

I just brought Poison Ivy down to Level Zero after she kidnapped, tortured and murdered Edward Blake, who's recovering in the infirmary. Steve knows what happened. [And you won't be getting any details on it, because it was pretty horrific and Dick really wants to just go sit in the shower for like, an hour.]

As long as T'Pol's in a coma, I'll be taking responsibility for Ivy from here on out, so if anyone has any questions about what happened or has an issue with her, I'd appreciate you directing them to me. She'll be down in Zero for the full week.

Again, I just want to stress with people that even with her abilities weakened, she's still extremely dangerous, and her pheromones still pack a punch. Use caution when approaching her, and don't let her have access to any toxic plants.

[Private to the Admiral]

I need a plant light, please.

[Private to Sara, about two hours later]

I don't know about you, but I could really use a break from being here right now, and I'm bringing a bottle of wine and a picnic blanket up to the CES, if you want to join me.

[Dick is walking through a crowded hallway when he makes his post, because the thought just occurred to him as he was leaving transfiguration class and hey, why not poll people instead of dragging out the yearly calendar when he gets back to his room.]

Hey, does anyone know when Parent's weekend this year is? I feel like that should be coming up soon, but I totally don't remember. [And knowing about it sooner rather than later will mean making sure his dad can actually show up, because being an attorney is apparently a huge time sink, who knew.]

Does anyone want to play some Quidditch after classes are done? I've got an extra quaffle around, and no team's using the field for practice, so. Could be fun.

[Private to Tim]

It's been an hour, do you need a rescue?

[Open Spam for the Quidditch Field]

[After school, Dick has decided to head down to the Quidditch field for some practice, which mostly means doing a lot of show offy tricks in the air because lol no one to pass the quaffle around with yet, and tossing it through the goal posts and diving to catch it at dangerously high speeds gets old after a while. So, come down for a game/some trash talk/mocking him for being a show off/saying hi, what have you.]

[ooc: Dick is a sixteen year old senior in Monkey, who plays Quidditch and is generally a very talented student. He tries to look out for the younger kids and the weird kids like Kovacs and doesn't take shit from bullies, which has earned him a goody two shoes reputation that he doesn't really bother trying to deny. Nygma's in Zero, and I'm leaving him down there for the full week. If anyone has any objections, feel free to let me know.

We're still getting the details on exactly what happened, so if anyone has questions, I'll answer them to the best of my ability.

[And edited in after his talk with Kay:] Has anyone noticed Nygma not knowing about stuff going on on the warden filter, but recently being up to speed on what we've been talking about?

[Spam for Kay]

[After dropping Nygma off in Zero, Dick pinged Tim asking for Kay's cabin number and then headed down to talk this out with someone he knew would take it seriously. The whole thing really didn't sit well with Dick, because had this just been a murdering someone who murdered my friend type deal, why was Nygma putting an emphasis on him being demoted for it, when Dick was pretty sure he'd been an inmate since he'd come back. The facts all pointed to it, and while he'd never specifically called him out on it, he'd figured other people had noticed, too.

He knocked on Kay's door and waited for him to answer it.]

So today's is Tim's birthday, I'm throwing him a surprise party, and you're all invited. Meet at my room after dinner, and don't tell him anything. [Or else.]

[Private to Claudia]

Hey. I know you're kind of in a rough place, so no pressure if you're not feeling up to it, but we'd love to have you there.

[Private to Rorschach]

I know this isn't really your thing, but it's Tim's birthday and I'm throwing him a party. I'm just inviting a couple people, so it's not a huge get together or anything, so if you want to make an appearance, I'd be happy to see you there.

[Spam for Tim]

[At some point while Tim was out of his room, someone - cough - has broken into your room and put red, green, black and yellow streamers everywhere. Everywhere. Enough that it almost looks like someone was trying to host a high school dance or something in your apartment. There are also a couple matching balloons.

Oh also there was a note taped to your door in very nondescript handwriting that said "You forgot something, didn't you?" because it's just not a surprise birthday without leaving vaguely incriminating notes taped to people's doors.]

[Dick's voice is still his own, but gravelly. It's more of a glass in throat variety than the Batvoice, really, and in case it wasn't painfully obvious by the creepy stalking he's been doing and breaking into other people's rooms, he's entirely flood affected and has swapped personalities with Rorschach.]

Worked a case, once. Woman stood on ledge of building, holding her baby. Said she didn't want to live in this wicked, wicked world. Didn't want her child growing up in it. Assumed she was going to jump. Tried reassuring her, telling her to come inside, talk this over. Think about it.

Misjudged scenario.

Threw child when other officer grabbed her. Never meant to jump. Wanted to "save" her baby from this wicked, wicked world.

Caught baby, but still didn't feel good about that night. Felt alone in a crowded city. No one to rely on, no cops, no partners. And death was always close in Blüdhaven. [And, story time over, he clicks off the feed.]

[Dick's been pretty radio silent outside of his circle of close friends for a while now. He's been brooding and collecting himself together since Gotham port, spending time patching up the Batsuit and re-equipping it because something tells him he'll probably wind up needing it again sooner rather than later.

The only reason he's really making a post now is it's Father's Day, and he feels like he just needs to say something about Bruce, however tangentially, even if he plans on remembering John Grayson privately, because that's just a minefield of angst he doesn't need other people poking at.]

You know, I've said it before, I'm sure I'll say it again, and I'm sure most of you don't really care or won't agree with me, but I really don't resent the life I ended up with. I got so lucky to have things happen the way they did, because someone cared enough about some orphaned kid to take me in, and stuff like that flood - no matter how bad it actually was - usually makes me realize we should all probably acknowledge it more. No matter how bad things get, there's always ways things could have been worse.

Not that I really needed this place to rub that in any more than it already has, but I guess it can't really be helped.

[Private to Tim]

For anyone I haven't spoken with yet, my name's Officer Dick Grayson, and I'm with the Gotham City PD. I get that we haven't been kidnapped and we're going to be heading home in a while, but if anyone needs a hand as long as we're here for, I'd be happy to help out. [Basically, Dick is an eager rookie cop who was never adopted by Bruce after his parents were murdered. :c]

How many other people have found stuff that looks like it should belong to them, but... doesn't? Like, this is definitely not my apartment- [Which is said in a way that conveys he'd never be able to afford it and feels like he's dirtying the place up just by sitting on the couch.] And I feel like I would have remembered getting my picture taken with Bruce Wayne. [Spam for Dean]

[He'd dragged himself away from the other people who'd been brought back, hiding on the other side of the deck to make the message because he was still in costume, and he really didn't love that suddenly everyone knew the secret. But once he'd sent it out, he suddenly didn't know what to do next. He hadn't slept in four days. Everything ached, and he honestly wasn't all that sure if he could stand up again if he wanted to, and it wasn't just because he was exhausted. He hadn't wanted to come back. Yes, Gotham was in relatively safer hands than it had been now that Bruce was conclusively back and there was a cure for Titan, but. It was still in trouble. His job was still supposed to be protecting the city. And it had been so long since he'd been home, and seeing it like that had been hard. Being pulled back to the Barge had been like getting the wind knocked out of him, and he didn't know where he was supposed to go from here.

But he couldn't just sit here forever. He needed to get off the deck and out of the suit, and probably get some sleep. Medical attention could wait, and he just really couldn't deal with other people right now anyway. He could think over what needed to happen next after he'd slept.

He peeled off the cowl, took a slow breath and carefully pushed himself to his feet. His vision grayed out for a few seconds and he blinked heavily, putting a hand against the wall to steady himself, wrapping his other arm around his torso. He'd broken a rib at some point before they got pulled back, and it took a minute for his vision to clear.]

It's been over a year and a half since I've been home for more than a few hours. I can pretty safely say this isn't the welcome back party I expected. [There's some humor there, but he mostly just sounds... tired. Maybe a little in shock. There's a short pause, and there's some quiet, largely unintelligible conversation with someone that sounds like Tim for those with good ears before Dick continues, and his voice is harder, more focused.

This might not be their Gotham, but they sure as hell aren't going to let it burn to the ground, and Dick is stepping up into leader mode. Which means bossy, lecture-y Bat, so sorry about that guys. :c]

I understand that for some of you, this is like stepping onto a set of a movie, but these are not characters from a cheesy kid's cartoon. They're violent, psychopathic murderers. If you see the Joker, or anyone dressed up in clown make up, run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. Do not try to engage him or any other costumed criminal unless you have no other choice. This isn't me trying to lecture you on laws of reality or common sense, it's advice to keep you safe.

Anyone who's able and willing should support the GCPD in any way they can. I understand first priority is keeping your inmates and yourself safe throughout port, but I'd be appreciative to anyone who's able to help stop this from getting worse. [And here he's warden filtering directions to the GCPD headquarters and Gotham General, with a note about how he's not sure either will be operational, but they're enough of a jumping off point to orient people and he'll provide further information once he gets updates.]

Stick together, and watch each other's backs. If anyone starts getting reports of or runs into anyone who's fallen overboard, keep people informed. Keep track of your inmates.

Tim and I are headed to see how bad the damage is. [Meaning, they're finding the Manor and the Cave and seeing if there's anything they can salvage/any proof that people they care about are still alive. :|] Try to organize anyone who's willing to help to start getting things under control, and make sure someone's helping out anyone who doesn't have combat experience who decided to leave the ship. We'll be able to help in a couple hours at most.

And I know this isn't a major concern on the Barge, but try not to be too open about our identities, especially on public filters. We don't know who could be compromised, and who they could pass the information along to in this world that could endanger our counterparts when things go back to normal. [When Dick clicks on the audio feed, he sounds a bit different than he usually does. His voice is more serious, clipped, and very slightly deeper than usual, because he's angry and has comfortably slipped into Batmode to handle all this.]

The situation is under control. Mark Hoffman and Buffy Summers are both recovering in the infirmary.

The assailant is named Edward Blake, a.k.a. the Comedian. He's here as an inmate- [Obviously. :V] and after a physical altercation involving myself, Rorschach and Dean Winchester, he's been taken to the infirmary to have his injuries treated, and as soon as he's well enough, is being brought down to Zero. His weapons have been removed, but I'd like to emphasize that he's an extremely dangerous man, even while unarmed. Do not drop your guard with him.

[Filtered away from Blake]

I understand that when things like this happen, people's first response is wanting revenge against the person responsible. I'd like to emphasize to anyone considering trying anything with him that no matter what he did, we're here to help people like him, and their actions will have consequences. I'd like to think we're all mature enough to not turn this into a bigger disaster than it already is.

[And back to Public]

Before anyone freaks out, don't worry, I'm knocking on wood and everything. [And look, that's exactly what he's doing. On his table. So don't freak.]

I vote we come up with some fun ways to pass the time. I mean, who knows how long we're going to be stuck here, and we can only run lines for so long, right? Like a talent show, or a screening of some movies or something. Or a board game. Not Monopoly, though, I figure there's enough tensions here on a good day without adding in an eight hour game of slowly trying to bankrupt each other, which I'm sure will just end in hurt feelings, flipped over tables and tears. [There is no other way for Monopoly to end, you know it's true. :|]

Maybe you've heard, [Because he talks about it kind of a lot when there's opportunity to. Which is always.] But back home, Logan and I were pretty famous for our dueling Simon Le Bon impressions. I'm sure we could contribute that, to whatever people want to do for fun around here. Right, Logan?

[ooc: Dick is Matt Anderson, who is originally from Crapsack Middle of Nowhere, Ohio, and had his big break a couple years ago by playing the plucky sidekick in an Indiana Jones-esque action movie which did pretty well financially. He's been in a couple other Michael Bayish movies since then as minor/supporting characters, but he is not half as famous or important as he makes himself out to be. He's been harassing Logan to revisit the good ol' days of doing song and dance routines in their backyard for basically a year and a half, and will be legitimately trying to bully him into doing this until the breach ends.]
